What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served at the Oassis restaurant, located in the same building as the hotel, although the entrance is on Passeig de Gràcia.

Breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. On weekends and public holidays, breakfast is served from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The restaurant offers three types of breakfast for hotel guests:

Pack Express [€8.50 per person per day]: Includes a croissant, toast with jam and butter, freshly squeezed orange juice, and coffee or tea.
Pack Ous [€11.50 per person per day]: Includes eggs, bacon, toast, freshly squeezed orange juice, and coffee or tea.
Pack Oassis [€13.50 per person per day]: Includes avocado toast, fruit or yoghurt, freshly squeezed orange juice, and coffee or tea.

Breakfast must be paid for at the hotel reception. Guests must collect their breakfast vouchers from reception before entering the restaurant.

How far is Casa Batlló?

Casa Batlló is very close to the hotel and can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.

What luxury shops are nearby?

Passeig de Gràcia is home to numerous luxury boutiques, fashion stores, jewellery shops, and international brands, all within walking distance of the hotel.

Are there rooms with terraces?

Yes. Some rooms have terraces, and certain superior room categories may offer private outdoor spaces.

Does the hotel have a swimming pool or solarium?

The hotel does not have a swimming pool, but it does offer a terrace or outdoor area where guests can relax, according to the available information.

Is there free WiFi available?

Yes. Praktik Èssens offers free Wi-Fi to all its guests.

Does the hotel provide cots, extra beds, or connecting rooms for families?

The hotel provides baby cots free of charge.

Sofa beds are also available in some rooms, subject to availability.

The hotel has connecting rooms (Standard + Superior with views), with a maximum combined capacity of four people: two people per room, with one bathroom in each room.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is guaranteed from 3:00 p.m.

Check-out must be completed by 12:00 p.m. at the latest.

Late check-out is always subject to hotel availability.

Is reception open 24 hours a day?

Yes. The hotel has a 24-hour reception desk and offers free luggage storage, also available 24 hours a day.

Is there a cancellation or reservation modification policy?

Reservations made directly with the hotel or through its website can be cancelled or modified up to 24 hours before the arrival date.

Reservations made through Booking.com, Expedia, or Airbnb can be cancelled or modified up to 48 hours before the arrival date.

After these deadlines, the hotel may charge a penalty equivalent to the full cost of the reservation.

Exceptions apply to special policies during events taking place in the city. In these cases, the deadline may be up to 7 or 30 days before arrival. Once the applicable deadline has passed, reservations cannot be modified or cancelled.

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?

You can reach the hotel from the airport by taxi, by Aerobús to Plaça de Catalunya, or by public transport. As the hotel is located on Passeig de Gràcia, access from the city centre is very convenient.

Are pets allowed?

The hotel does not accept pets.

Is laundry service available?

The hotel offers washing and ironing services for an additional charge. Your laundry may be ready by the same afternoon, provided it is handed in at reception before 11:00 a.m.

You can check the prices per item or per bag at the hotel reception.

Are there partner car parks?

Praktik Èssens has an agreement with a public car park located just a three-minute walk from the hotel.

The car park is called SABA Consell de Cent. It is located at the intersection of Passeig de Gràcia and Carrer de la Diputació, opposite the Mango store.

If you wish to reserve parking for one or two nights, the daily rate is €40. For stays of three nights or more, the daily rate is reduced to €31. Payment for parking is made at the hotel.

Upon arrival at the car park, you will receive a ticket, which you must hand in at the hotel reception. In exchange, you will be given a card that allows you to enter and exit the car park as many times as necessary.

Information About the Perfumes and Fragrances We Offer Our Guests

Inspired by the city of Barcelona, Praktik Èssens has created its own fragrances, aiming to capture the essence of the sea, the mountains, and the flowers of the city and its surroundings.

After a careful selection process, Praktik presents the four Èssens perfumes: Mar, Herbas, Flor, and Barcelona. The latter is a truly unique fragrance created by combining the three previous fragrances in carefully studied proportions.

Like the perfumes, the soap is also made by a local perfumer. We offer three different scents in our handmade soap bars: sea, flowers, and herbs.

You can try the soap in your room, and it is also available for purchase at reception.

Candles and reed diffusers featuring the Barcelona fragrance are also available, making them ideal souvenirs to take home as a reminder of the city.

Room Instructions and Facilities

How do the air conditioning, safe, pillows, blankets, minibar, and other amenities work?

Air conditioning or heating: Press the power button and select the desired mode (fan, automatic, air conditioning, or heating). Then select your preferred temperature and fan speed.

Pillows: We understand that everyone has different pillow preferences and that getting a good night's sleep is important. That is why the hotel offers a pillow menu with four different types to choose from: aloe vera, cervical, feather, or memory foam. You can request an extra pillow at the hotel reception.

Refrigerator: Each room has a small refrigerator where you can store drinks, food, or medication free of charge.

Safe: To set the safe, simply close the door and press the “Reset” button. Then enter a four-digit code and press the “Lock” key. To open the safe, enter the same code you previously selected.

Microwave: The rooms do not have microwaves. However, you can use the microwave available at the hotel reception, which is accessible 24 hours a day.

Housekeeping: Rooms are cleaned daily until 3:00 p.m.

Items and accessories upon request: The hotel reception can provide the following items upon request: luggage scales, chargers or adapters, beach towels, toothbrushes, shower caps, sewing kits, slippers, bathrobes, kettles, ironing kits, and umbrellas.

How can I get to the Sagrada Familia or Park Güell by public transport?

Sagrada Familia:
En metro es la forma más rápida y económica. Puede acceder al metro Passeig de Gracia (200m. del hotel), dirigirse a la Línea L2 y tras 3 paradas deberá salir en la parada “Sagrada Familia”. El trayecto en metro es de 10 minutos. Puede comprar los tickets de metro dentro de la misma estación de metro. A pie son 30 minutos caminando (Distancia de 2,2km) y en taxi el trayecto aproximado es de 10-15 minutos y el coste ronda los 20-25€.

Parque Güell:
El autobús es la forma más cómoda de llegar al Parque Güell. La parada del autobús 24 se encuentra a 200 m del hotel. El trayecto en autobús es de 30 minutos y puede comprar el ticket del autobús una vez acceda al interior.
